<Hit The Nail> 적중리포트(6평)

안녕하세요!

수능특강 영어영역 변형교재 <Hit The Nail> 저자입니다. 

이번 6월 모의고사에서는 수능특강에서 4개의 지문이 연계되었습니다.

그 중 연계의 의미가 거의 없는 도표 문제를 제외하면 실질적으로 도움이 되는 연계는 세 지문에서만 이루어졌다고 할 수 있습니다.

그 중 두 문항이 <Hit The Nail>에서 적중했습니다.

지칭대상 추론 문제의 경우 지문은 물론 유형까지 똑같았고, 다른 한 문제의 경우 유형은 달랐지만 지문이 적중했습니다.

교재 제작 당시부터 '적중'의 의미를 살리고자 소수의 문항만을 선별하였습니다.

수능특강에는 300개에 가까운 지문이 수록되어 있는데, <Hit The Nail>에는 다른 변형문제집보다 현저히 적은 35지문(전체의 12% 가량)만을 수록하였습니다.(*총 지문 수는 36개이나 장문 한 지문은 외부 지문을 차용했으므로 제외했습니다)

그런데 6월 모의고사에서 도표 문항을 제외할 경우 66%(2/3)를, 포함한다 하더라고 50%를 적중시켰습니다.

또한 교재에 수록된 지문 내에서만 적중률을 판단하더라도, 35개 지문 중 두 지문으로 5.7%의 적중률을 기록했습니다.

지문을 무작위로 뽑을 경우 확률적으로 1.4% 적중할 것이고, 작년 수능 기준 변형문제집 최고 적중률이 2.7%였음을 감안할 때(*상변선생님께서 올려주신 통계를 참고했습니다) ebs 지문을 효율적으로 학습하는 데에 큰 도움이 되었을 것이라 생각합니다.

ebs 지문은 원칙적으로 모두 보시는 것이 가장 안전하지만, 시간에 쫓기는 경우 4-5배 효율성 향상을 보실 수 있었을 것입니다.

물론 이는 한 번의 모의고사에서, 여러 ebs 연계교재 중 하나만을 대상으로 한 결과입니다.

나름의 성과에 안주하지 않고 더욱 좋은 교재를 제작하기 위해 노력하겠습니다.
